Telemachus is a hero in The Odyssey by demonstrating great courage. When the suitors were destroying and robbing Telemachus of his house and food, he confronted the elders and people to bring a stop to it. This was to no avail. This however, did not stop him from going out and searching for his lost father, whom everyone said was dead. Courage is a heroic trait that Telelmuchas seems to have.
Odysseus in books one and two isn't hero. The books only describe him and explain how the gods feel about Odysseus. He is a hero though for his effort of staying on task and trying to get home. He never once gives up or forgets his precious Penlope, eevn when he was trapped by the goddess Clypso. Odyssues has a strong will to get done what needs to be done.
Your paragraphs need to refer to the Hero's Journey steps, and your discussion of Odysseus should include references to books 5 & 6.
